*Press Release 1066 April 3rd 2008* 1066 the movie is gathering momentum as more veterans come onboard to bring this epic film to the screen. Public response to the planned movie in the UK has been enormous. The myspace.com site haroldgodwinson has attracted more than 1300 friends and is attracting dozens more daily. Robin Jacob and Chris Carson (producers) have welcomed onboard Lou Tedesco Hollywood Industry veteran with more than three decades in the business as Co-producer. Based in LA, Lou will have unprecedented access to many of the big players in Hollywood. Joining as Line Producer is BAFTA winner David Ball. David has been in the industry for more than 30 years and has been producer on such projects as ‘Rumpole’, ‘Creepshow 2’ ‘The Last Seduction’ and ‘The Contractor’ starring Wesley Snipes. Another industry veteran Rocky Taylor has joined as Stunt Coordinator. Rocky’s credits include 17 James Bond movies, ‘Children of Men’, ‘The Da Vinci Code’, ‘V for Vendetta’ “Titanic’ and ‘Evita’. Another young actor has been added to the cast. Matt Fiddes martial expert has been attached to the movie as King Hardrada’s right hand man. With two major battle scenes, it is imperative that fit, well trained actors can deliver the sort of fight sequences that will not disappoint the audiences. Interest from several ‘A’ list US based actors has been an encouraging sign and the US market is of course of major importance. The producers are taking a slow methodical approach to this production. Each step along the way is tended to carefully before moving onto the next step. Robin Jacob hopes to shoot this epic in Wales which provides a unique location for such a movie. “Of course, a lot depends on the help and encouragement we receive from the Welsh IP Fund. But I feel this movie should be shot in Wales, the locations there are just right”. “Eastern Europe is an alternative choice but somehow I don’t think that would gel too well with the British public.” Said producer Robin Jacob.
