Foviance, the expert in online experience management, today announces the launch of WebAbacus 5.1, the first web analytics product released under the Foviance brand. WebAbacus 5.1 is an upgrade of the popular WebAbacus 5. It brings unprecedented levels of usability and accessibility to a web analytics product by meeting the W3C’s (Worldwide Web Consortium) Conformance Level ‘Double-A’ for accessibility. Foviance believes it is the first web analytics tool on the market to achieve this level of compliance. The accessibility standard has been applied to the product’s reporting interface, which is used to view and manipulate the analytics reports. This broadens the appeal of the product by making it available to any users who require a simplified version of the interface. A new feature of WebAbacus 5.1 is its ability to analyse e-marketing data - a significant expansion on its predecessor. It also continues to offer the survey data analysis that was a key feature of WebAbacus 5. A range of usability enhancements make the product very simple to use and also enable Foviance to deliver its Experience Management Service, of which the web analytics tool is an integral part. Paul Blunden, CEO of Foviance, said: “WebAbacus 5.1 reflects one of our central propositions – that usability and accessibility can be applied to web analytics. This is an important development and expands the potential reach of the product at a time when more and more organisations are taking an interest in how their website is performing.” |
