The fashion week in Hong-Kong takes place twice a year since 1994. Organized by the Council of Hong-Kong trade development this exhibition regularly has about 1500 companies as participants and attracts more than 25 000 visitors from all over the world.

Organized by the Council of Hong-Kong trade development this exhibition regularly has about 1500 companies as participants and attracts more than 25 000 visitors from all over the world. This year one of the forums on Hong-Kong Fashion Week was devoted to the possibilities of Russian market. On the 13th of July in the Hong-Kong exhibition centre there were two seminars about it. At first in front of the Chinese manufacturers and exporters of clothes spoke with a report secretary general of the International Trade Centre of China, responsible organizer of the largest Chinese export/import fair (China Import and Export Fair) – Mr. Vang Junven. He told the participants about the prospects of expansion of presence of the Chinese Trade Marks on foreign markets and a forthcoming autumn exhibition of Chinese manufacturers of clothes in Moscow. After his speech the participants listened to Gene Zarkin – the founder of “Zarkin & Partners” Brand Consultancy (Russia), - who arrived in Hong Kong by the special invitation of the organizers of this exhibition with a seminar, devoted to building brands on the markets of Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
