AdLINK Ltd. is part of the AdLINK Internet Media AG - Europe’s leading digital media house, AdLINK, today announces its first major sales partnership with The Phone Book from BT. The new agreement confirms AdLINK as the exclusive online advertising sales representatives for The Phone Book from BT (www.bt.com/thephonebook), the comprehensive source of local and business service information. AdLINK will work with The Phone Book’s in-house sales team, to extend its design and technology expertise to the site’s display advertising units, to include skyscraper and new banner advertising units, as well as new MPU (Message Plus Unit) formats. AdLINK will also become another consultative resource for The Phone Book as it seeks to maximise new advertising opportunities. The Phone Book will in return, considerably enhance AdLINK’s already powerful local/directory offering by widening its reach to its current 2.6 million unique users, which generated 12.7 million page impressions in July alone (Source: Internal MIS). The Phone Book’s keywords and location-targeted inventory will be incorporated into AdLINK’s suite of local sites. Kevin Cunningham, Head of Online Marketing, at The Phone Book from BT, comments, “This is a strategic partnership that allows both AdLINK and The Phone Book to mutually share and benefit from best practice in online advertising. The real news for our advertisers is that they can expect the introduction of more new advertising units, such as a wider banner portfolio – one of many online opportunities in the pipeline for the year ahead.” Andy Mitchell, Managing Director at AdLINK, comments: “This is a landmark partnership in our market development and the first of many major announcements that we will be making over coming months. Linking with quality partners is one key way in which the AdLINK team will continue to blaze a trail in the digital media industry.” Ends AdLINK press contacts: Wendy McAuliffe – This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it - 07900 886791 Lloyd Gofton – This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it - 07919 353484 The Phone Book from BT press contact: Rebecca Cardwell - This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it – 01442 295605 About The Phone Book The Phone Book from BT contains local residential and business numbers, not just BT customers and is available in print and online at www.bt.com/thephonebook.
