Mission Viejo CA. October 12, 2007. Let Life In, (LetLuifeIn.com) the 50plus online magazine and social community, has never shied away from controversy. It appears they have out did themselves this time with an article titled, “My Third Wife is my Trophy Wife.”

“We’re used to controversy,” says Gary Geyer, Chief Editor at ‘Let Life In,” “As a matter of fact, we love it! When we get a rise out of people, we know they are alive and have a point of view. Who says we all have to agree? We’re all different and experience life in our own way.” 

That seems to be true. Recent articles have included such controversial articles as “Boomers Getting Stoned,” “The Myth of Finding a Great Job after 50,” and “Let’s Face it, Over 50 Sucks.”

“Our article on ‘Dr. Kervorkian and Assisted Suicide’ ruffled a few feathers but not nearly as much as the reaction to ‘Trophy Wife’,” adds Geyer.

The anonymously written article got some support from men, but the women seem to hate it. The guy doesn’t come off as a great guy but you could argue he makes logical sense in an odd way. It’s the concept of having a trophy wife that seems to rub many women the wrong way.

No one has a problem with famous men like Larry King, Donald Trump, Michael Douglas or even Fred Thompson having beautiful, much younger wives but if you are just an ordinary rich guy

 –that’s another story.
