New service to allow busy Londoners to delegate errands online. All that busy individuals need to do is log-on and delegate their errands online. Newly launched errandsetc.co.uk, a unique delegate-online service, provides on-demand errand runners to busy Londoners. All that busy individuals need to do is log on and delegate their errands online.

The service will take care of day-to-day errands like; returning unwanted items to the stores, picking up forms and posting items at the post office, quick grocery shopping, picking up and returning items to libraries, collecting dry cleaning, queuing up for tickets, buying newspapers, magazines, books etc… It's like having a personal messenger. The service requires no membership or monthly fees. Anyone short of time uses the service when the need arises.

Former Management Accountant, Jennifer Nabwogi came up with the idea when she found it hard to catch up on many personal tasks while keeping up a full time job.

‘There are times when I was happy to pay someone to get me a pair of shoes from Oxford street or get me breakfast items at home on a Saturday morning,’ Jennifer said
‘I started researching the idea and the more I did, the more I saw the need for it. I wanted to give anyone short of time instant access to their own personal messenger with no strings attached.’

In market tests, office bound workers have used the service for such simple things as taking an item to the post office, shopping for groceries before they return home, queuing up for museum tickets, delivering urgent hospital supplies, buying items from stores, collecting pre-paid train tickets, paying for parking licences, waiting for servicemen at home, renewing passports, queuing up for visas, paying parking fines...

Errands are as unique as the people who request for them. It’s because of this uncertainty that ‘Etc’ was added to the name.
‘One minute you are delivering hair extensions to a client, the next minute carrying a TV box from daughter to mother. It’s unpredictable.’ Says Tracey Beecham, an errand runner at Errands Etc.
The service costs from £8.95 + VAT for an errand within a mile. The cost will depend on travel distances involved and any waiting time. Customers have access to an instant online quotation for their errand and will know in advance what they pay. Errand runners are vetted to very high standards.
