Milano - Next Wednesday 28 in Milano at the Admiral Hotel in Via Domodossola, 16, just in front of gate Domodossola of Fieramilanocity, the 8th edition of VINTAGE WORKSHOP® – Only for Vintage Fashion Addicts, will take place. The collective exhibition, organised with the format of a show-room with sale, is particularly addressed to collectors, vintage fashion addicts and professional fashion operators like stylists, designers, buyers, specialty shops, producers, styling offices, product managers, fashion advisors, cool-hunters who base their research on Vintage in order to get new inspirations, creative hints and ideas aimed at projecting their future collections.
On show: garments, knitwear, purses, shoes, costume Jewelry, leather items, belts, scarves, swim- and underwear, hats and many more vintage accessories, for sell and rent, particularly dated from the beginning of the 19th to the late 20th centuries, exhibited by a team of well qualified collectors and dealers. The exhibitions, whose curator is Angela Eupani Serio - marketing manager and fashion advisor - is organised by the Italian cultural association of the Vintage Fashion Researchers (“Ricercatori Moda d’Epoca”), the same organiser of VINTAGE WORKSHOP ® Florence, which takes place crossing its dates with Pitti Immagine Filati. These technical events, particularly dedicated to the members of the fashion system, have progressively increased their importance and visibility towards foreign fashion workers and they take place every six months in both Milano and Florence but with different formats: in Milano the show has a free admission to the public while in Florence the system of setting individual meetings with any customer Company has been privileged. Just after MilanoUnica, Milanovendemoda and the Catwalk-week, the dates of Vintage Workshop - Milano have been chosen taking into consideration that in the same days there will also be the close-by Anteprima Pelle, so that many fashion operators will have the opportunity to join both shows, situated in the same area of the central trade fair (Fieramilanocity). The Workshop exhibitors have been selected for their high-hand research and the variety of their clothing and accessories proposals which usually cannot be found in the markets or fairs open to public. The exhibition is expected to be a great occasion to hunt among the most unique and original Vintage items, able to meet even the most exigent and sophisticated requests and expectations. An opportunity not to miss for those who want to vary and add different one of-a-kind pieces to their own wardrobe but also for fashion designers who can take advantage of picking up new fresh hints and ideas from the past to get inspiration and increase their creativity while designing original contemporary collections. The admission will be free upon registration directly on the spot at the hospitality desk of the event.
