Mum & Baby Fitness program from  Northern America now in the UK

Central London, December 11, 2007   ––Baby Boot Camp, USA’s premier prenatal and postpartum fitness program designed for mum and baby is now launching in Central London.

US born prenatal and postpartum fitness company have become the first of its kind to launch in central London.  “We are passionate about helping parents all over the world learn how to get and stay fit,” said Kristen Horler, CEO and founder of Baby Boot Camp.  Classes are due to begin in January 2008 personal training sessions will  also be available.

“With the current dialogue focused on the obesity epidemic, we believe that every parent has a huge responsibility to reverse this issue for future generations”  Horler said.  Arming parents with the tools to get fit and fight issues like obesity is only one of Baby Boot Camp’s main goals for 2008. Prenatal classes help better prepare for delivery and demands of motherhood.  Postpartum workouts help mums regain or enhance pre-pregnancy fitness levels and meet the physical challenges of parenting by emphasizing strength training in a supportive environment. Kids are introduced to healthy behaviors early in life, as they are integrated right into the class structure. Along with children, partners and caregivers are also welcome in class.

Programming is fully compliant with the latest College of Obstetrics and Gynecology guidelines.  In most instances mums can exercise throughout their pregnancy, with the absence of complications and can resume workouts 6 weeks after pregnancy.
