ANGELS BRING EASTERN DELIGHTS TO SOUTHGATE |

Angel Dancers, one of the UK’s most established Bollywood dance schools, is bringing its classes to Southgate. With this Eastern dance style bringing an array of energy and vibrancy, Angel Dancers is encouraging children and adults of all ages to fuse eastern and western steps and join the enigmatic world of Bollywood. Classes will be held every Wednesday and Friday at The Bourne Methodist Church, The Bourne, N14 6RS. Classes for 13-adults take place on a Wednesday from 8pm-9pm and 9pm-10pm. Friday classes are for children from 3 years old up to 13 years old from 4pm-5pm and 5pm-6pm.
The new term springs into action from Wednesday 23rd April 2008, and people of all ages and levels of ability are welcome. Whether you are an experienced dancer or more of a beginner, classes aim to build the confidence of each student and progress on to rhythmic steps and lively dance routines. For the new term, the first class is being offered for free for those who simply want a ‘taster.’ Classes feature an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary East and West music, incorporating a range of dance styles. The classes provide a great source of fun and enjoyment and help to maintain health and fitness levels of both children and adults alike. Students from Angel Dancers are frequently asked to take part in live shows both here in the UK and abroad. As well as shows, students have also been involved in films including East is East, Bend It Like Beckham and the Hollywood meets Bollywood hit movie, Bride and Prejudice. All students from Angel Dancers have the opportunity to take part in shows across the UK, displaying accurate routine sequences and dynamic performance skills through different styles and rhythmic patterns.
