Did you know that Scots would be better off by around £4500 a year if they were paid for overtime according to a new report, but lack of confidence and the fear of appearing lazy is stopping workers demanding the cash. According to the TUC, almost half a million people work overtime without pay and, if everyone worked their unpaid overtime at the start of the year, it would be Friday 22nd February before they would start getting paid. As a result, the TUC has named the 22nd ‘Work Your Proper Hours Day’. Simple Corporate Resource Solutions is joining forces with InterActions to make employers aware of the importance of recognising employees’ contribution with non-financial rewards. The workshop details are: Valuing your Assets Rothes HallsGlenrothesFifeThursday 21st February1.00pm to 4.30pmCost £75 per delegate The workshop will be looking at how to reduce workloads to prevent stress at work and will include time management and communication skills as well as forms of leadership.
