Virgin Retail successfully complete 360 Degree Feedback process as part of ongoing senior management training & development programme

Following the successful implementation of a web-based 360 Degree Feedback system to offer feedback to Regional Managers & Store Managers across the U.K., Bowland Solutions were asked to provide a comprehensive solution for the senior managers within Virgin Retail headquarters in London.
Beginning with the development of a competency framework supportive of the key activities outlined for the senior managers, Bowland Solutions designed a bespoke online 360 Degree Feedback system. The system provided a secure personal account area for each manager, where they could complete appraisals, attach coaching comments from their debrief sessions, and store personal development plans.
The process was fully managed by Bowland Solutions, from the entering of respondents, distribution of questionnaires, collation of reports, and subsequent organisation of feedback sessions.
Confidential feedback sessions were conducted with Bowland Solutions Business Coaches, to discuss the results and assist in the creation of personal development plans for 26 Senior Managers.
Within one month of the distribution of questionnaires, there was a 90% completion rate and high levels of positive feedback by managers, commenting on a productive and valuable process which clearly supported their development goals.
