Pixel Advertising – Site Review – The Truth
Pixel advertising is doomed!

Pixel advertising, the new advertising phenomenon, looked initially to be an advertiser’s dream, with huge site traffic being generated and low cost advertising, one it seemed only needed to place an advert on a pixel site and see traffic to their site skyrocket along with their sales figures.

Sadly this dream bubble has burst; with everybody jumping on the bandwagon the whole future of pixel advertising looks doomed. There are literally thousands of pixel advertising sites springing up each promising to generate huge traffic to the advertiser’s site; this couldn’t be further from the truth. Even the top ranking sites fail to spark interest from true advertisers and the only sites that seem to be filing up their advertising space are those offering free pixels and they are filling up with pixel advertising sites.

No one it seems understands the fundamental requirements for a good and long lasting pixel advertising site and that is:
·        The browser has to have a reason to visit the site and return time and time again.
·        The site has to have various levels of advertising to suit all advertising budgets.
·        The site has to offer some kind of cash incentive for both browsers and advertisers alike.
·        The site has to most importantly have longevity otherwise it becomes static and cannot attract visitors after it has been filled.

Get these fundamental rules correct and you have the makings of a good and productive pixel advertising site. Sadly 99.9% of pixel advertising sites do not have a clue about these rules they have simply jumped on to the bandwagon with little or no regard for the future for themselves or their advertisers. They have one page sites promising the earth and failing to deliver. If they do manage to fill their grids what then? Do you think that they will then go on to spend their profits continually advertising that site to attract browsers who when visiting have no incentive to return I think not. These sites will remain inactive, obsolete and static with little or no visitors to view the advertiser’s ill placed adverts.

Fortunately though, there seems to be at least one pixel advertising site that has had the vision to realise the fundamental requirements and set up a site that meets all these requirements. www.millionpoundpixelhunt.com has fulfilled all it’s obligations to both browsers and advertisers and found a way to guarantee longevity for its site. So it seems there just might be a future for pixel advertisers after all. Pixel site owners take note. Advertisers, this is the safest bet for your advertising campaign.
