Models United Limited have created an opportunity for amateur and professional models to take part in a free portrait session and free 6x4 colour print, and have the photo of their choice entered into the Face of ’08 competition with the chance to win £100, with no hidden costs or obligation to buy.

The concept is simple: 

            Book a portrait session with your regional Models United photographer

Choose your favourite photo from the shoot which will be yours to keep, no sales pitch to buy additional copies

The same photo will be entered into an online regional competition where your friends and family can vote.

Male and Female regional winners will receive a certificate and go forward to the national final

Online voting takes place and the Male and Female winners each receive £100 prize.

Paul Beard proprietor of Photographers United Limited, sponsors of the competition, is very excited about this latest venture. Paul said ‘We are building on the success of the Valentine Couple of ‘08 competition we ran in February.  We are not a model agency, and are not offering any kind of contract. Photographers United are a team of photographers from all over the UK and Eire, who will give professional and aspiring models the chance to experience a professional shoot and walk away with a free 6x4 inch photo. We don’t need to do a hard sell because people who have used our service in the past keep coming back, so we are confident that, at the end of the Face of 08 competition, entrants will come back and use us again. Photographers United Limited is putting up the prize money for the national winners; and some additional regional prizes have been donated by local businesses, who are keen to be associated with the competition’.
