For the past two weeks, I have investigated about how mobile phones would be gradually penetrating our daily life. Obviously, following with the fast technology development, we can use mobile phones to achieve a lot more, such as: mobile shopping, watching TV, listening to radio, MP3, MP4, taking pictures or videos and so on. The basic phone models have been taken place by converged devices or smart phones, such as PocketPC, Symbian phones or music phones, which provide greater functionality and can run hundreds of mobile applications to satisfy advanced users’ demands.
Coogee (www.mycoogee.com) offers an excellent mobile application that is freeware for Symbian 60 / 40 and Java –enabled phones. This cool application makes it easy for you to upload pictures, videos, music from your mobile phones to unlimited personal web spaces and furthermore to exchange and share with your friends; it also integrates most popular instant messenger MSN service to chat easily on the go.
Let’s start by looking at some nice features of the application:
When Coogee is up and running, you will see screens as follows. You have to make sure that the connection to Internet (GPRS access point) is set correctly.
The Coogee HIER screenshots are shown as follows: (plz. Add a login screenshot here)
When you select to upload, you can insert the description, tags, category and permission to view.
After successfully uploaded, you can select different channels to share with your friends.
I think Coogee’s amazing in that it enriches my cellphone life beyond voice, text communication to Content communication, in other words, I can use my self-created mobile contents to communicate with my friends on the go. Plus, there is tons of the same stuff contributed by other Coogee users to enjoy. A word to the wise: If you have an unlimited data plan, it would be fun to use Coogee on your mobile device. To get latest Coogee version now, go to http://www.mycoogee.com or http://wap.mycoogee.com by mobile.
