Pavilion Insurance Management Ltd announces the launch of Indemnityguard – a policy created to provide professional indemnity insurance cover for photographers and videographers. Professional indemnity provides essential cover, so that in the event a photographer finds themselves in dispute with a client, the cost of defending any allegations or claims made against them are paid or compensation is paid to the client.
Indemnityguard offers four levels of cover: £25,000 / £50,000 / £100,000 and £250,000 with other benefits including cover for negligent mis-statement or misrepresentation, cover for defamation or infringement of intellectual property rights and cover of costs incurred in business recovery should documents or data be lost.
Indemnityguard professional indemnity insurance policies cover the photographer (and any partner, director or senior manager in actual control of the business) anywhere in the world.
Premiums depend on the level of cover required and the photographer’s maximum annual income but start from £100. Photographers must have had at least 3 years experience as a photographer to be eligible for cover.
