Leading independent research company Defaqto has awarded pet insurance provider Pet Protect a five star rating for its Lifelong EXTRA product for the 2nd year running in its latest review of the UK pet insurance market.
The Defaqto report compares pet insurance products from across the whole of market focusing on the level of cover rather than the price. Defaqto use a unique scoring system to assess certain product features which are considered the most important in giving a customer reliable, valuable cover. Products which meet the bar set by Defaqto are then awarded the prestigious 5 Star rating. The Defaqto analysis shows that there are currently over 70 different brands offering pet insurance. With such a multitude of options, any tool that helps a customer to make sense of this confusing market, and to choose the best product to meet their needs is extremely valuable. Henrietta Corcoran, Marketing Manager, Pet Protect comments “We are delighted to be awarded the Defaqto five star rating for another year. Pet Protect values itself on providing some of the most comprehensive levels of cover on the market, and also by offering exceptional customer service. We only offer lifelong cover as standard as we believe that this is the only type of cover that offers total peace of mind for the customer." A comparison tool developed by Defaqto which allows you to compare the level of cover offered by any insurance product on the market is available by visiting http://www.petprotect.co.uk/defaqto |
