Panther Platform Rentals found themselves risking a sting or two when recently called upon by a leading pest control company to assist with the removal of a bees nest at a Surrey public house.
A vehicle mounted 26.5 metre boom was selected to access the roof of The Sutton Arms on Sutton High Street, to remove the nest from the pub’s chimney piece. Tania Simmons of Panther Platform Rentals said: “After surveying the job and the access required, our team decided that the Z26 was ideal for getting up and over the roof of the three storey building.” Fortunately, the nest along with the bees was reported to have been moved avoiding any stinging incident!
