The Princess Carriage

Fairytales truly do come true with the Princess Carriage.

With a wave of magic your princess’ dreams come true in a land of fantasy and make believe. Created to indulge and inspire, it will be sure to be a magical feature to any little princess bedroom.

Based on the classic fairytale of Cinderella, where the fairy godmother magically turns a pumpkin into the carriage that whisks Cinderella of to the ball.

The Princess Carriage is constructed and finished completely by hand. Each and every component of the Carriage is unique, and comes complete with a bespoke mattress, two sets of hand made bed sheets, duvets, pillows and cushions made from raw silks. The mattress which rests in bed base and headrest is beautifully upholster to create the feeling of warmth comfort.

What Princess Carriage would not be complete without a Treasure chest with your child’s name on it. The chest can be made to suit your child’s needs, wither it’s simply for toys or work desk for a laptop it’s really up to you. It can be placed at the front or rear to suit your child’s bedroom.

Each Carriage is custom built to order, allowing you to select colours and fabric that will let your child’s individuality to shine through the options truly are limitless.

About Us

Treasured Dreams .Ltd founders Andy and Gordon Brown, a father and son partnership from Ayrshire in Scotland. Where first inspired to start Treasured Dreams after resigning there positions with one of the world’s largest Tree houses design and construction companies.

Gordon, one of the world’s leading Treehouse designers has design over 600 Treehouse’s over last 9 years. Creating designs and presentations all over the world for some of the worlds rich and famous. No stranger to using fairytales as his inspiration. One of his most beautiful Treehouse’s the Cedar Spire, a two story fairytale castle with copper shingles, stain glass window’s and turret was created as a place of escapism and fantasy for the children.

Andy a skilled craftsman for over 30 year, started his career in the dockyards of Irvine, Ayrshire. Gaining an personal interest in how things where engineered and put together he join a small family run cabinet makers where he learned his skills in timber furniture making. Andy skills and diversity developed over the years from building children’s toys and furniture to wooden hulls for boats . Always looking for new challenges, Andy, the workshop foreman for a Treehouse builders was responsible for bespoke construction and development.

There aspiration was to join both skill’s and talents in a way that would inspire, fun, make believe and imaginative play. Like the beginnings of any idea, a simple seed was planted and through discussions and research the idea’s grew into something that captured both their imaginations. There idea of using classic fairytales as a basis for creating imaginative children’s beds, has not only push all boundaries of what a child’s bed could be but set the standard of what they should be.

Taking originality to new heights they started work on creating the Princess Carriage. Inspired by the classic tale of Cinderella.

Bespoke Service

For those who wish to commission there very own child’s bed, Treasured Dreams offer a bespoke service.

Treasured Dreams beds are as unique as the children they are created for. So that we can create a bed uniquely for your children, an initial consultation is arrange in the comfort of your home. Our designer will sit down with yourself and the children to put together your idea’s and aspirations in order to start the realisation of your child’s dream bed.

Following this consultation (usually undertaken within a week of an initial enquiry) or designer develops a full presentation including scale plans, elevations and drawings.

A full descriptive quotation is then prepared including you with a fixed price and timescale for the project. Flexibility is assured at this stage, with and amendments, additional and alterations being incorporated into the final design.

On acceptance of the final design, the construction of your own highly original children’s bed will be carefully planned and meticulously hand-made by skilled craftsmen using traditional materials.
