Hillary’s “useful guide to shutters” marks new shutters collection launch. To mark the launch of our new shutters collection, Hillarys has compiled what we hope you'll find “a really useful guide to shutters”! Shutters are used around the world for their simple, colonial style and their sheer practicality when it comes to shielding against strong sunshine while letting fresh air to flow into a room. Hardwearing, low maintenance and versatile they'll fuse wonderfully with both traditional and contemporary interiors. Cream or white shutters help create a bright and breezy seaside or New England look, while wood is ideal for a more traditional theme. We highlight their unique features and benefits and give an insight into the various types of shutters available and what can work best in any given situation or location. Hillary’s new collection The new Hillarys range is available in four different wood types to suit a variety of needs and budgets, a choice of five shutter styles and 50 stained finishes and colours. Or you can choose to have your shutters painted to match a colour scheme by opting for one of at least 2000 shades from either Dulux Trade or Farrow & Ball paints. The new collection also provides the ideal solution for awkward or unusual shaped windows as the shutter can be made to perfectly fit almost any form, from arched to hexagonal or circular to triangular and more or less anything in between!
