"Let Life In" www.LetLifeIn.com once again tells the truth about life after 50. This week, it’s an outspoken article titled, “Enough Already, I’m Tired of Trying to Look Younger.”

July 3, 2007 -- "Let Life In" (www.LetLifeIn.com) continues to separate itself from other media directed to the 50+ audience by telling the truth about life after 50. This week, it’s an outspoken article titled, “Enough Already, I’m Tired of Trying to Look Younger.”

The writer of the article, Brenda Mallory says, “The big buck business of making people over 50 look younger is getting out of hand. Color our hair, injects Botox into a wrinkled place, nip, tuck, and everyone will marvel at your preservation skills. Oh, please!”

“We need to face the reality of aging and know full well we will die at some point.”

Gary Geyer, the Let Life In editor-in-chief, says, “Our philosophy at Let Life in (www.letLifeIn.com) is that life is great—but not always. There’s the good, the bad and the ugly. Let Life In is about experiencing the full spectrum of life -- not just the good stuff. At 50+, we have been around long enough to know what real life is and we believe we can handle it.”

The point of the article is to promote aging in a healthy and vibrant way. This applies to those on the younger side of things as well as those of us who feel we might be on the slippery slope of aging.

Brenda adds, “We might not look as smooth as a baby’s bottom but we might feel better about ourselves and feel better physically by realizing aging is a part of life. We may not be looking forward to it but we need to keep it in perspective. That’s letting life in.”

Geyer goes on to say, “Our name and rallying cry, "Let Life In" reflects a positive attitude about being 50+. It is not about a religion. It is not about happy or sad or plus or minus. “Let Life In” is about all of it. We believe that when you truly let life in you will experience all of it.
