Online Store Allows You to Earn Cash While You Shop For Baby

Dunfermline, United Kingdom (07 January 2008) - A Dunfermline-based baby wear website is offering shoppers the opportunity to earn cash whilst shopping with them by selling their nearly-new baby items on the site. Babywear Exchange (www.babywearexchange.com) is the brainchild of Carol Beck, from Dunfermline, who was originally inspired to set up the business by the birth of her first son, Alexander, two years ago. Babywear Exchange is no ordinary baby wear website. Not only can shoppers browse for new and nearly-new items online, they can also create a free account with which to sell their own items. Sellers decide which price they'd like their item to be listed at and the listing is ‘good until sold’, with no fees payable to Babywear Exchange. "If shoppers decide to re-sell their clothing purchases once their children have outgrown them, they’re effectively getting ‘free clothes’, " explains Carol. "The system means that no clothes go to waste and parents can benefit from some extra cash to help with family life. "Babies can be expensive, but no parent wants to compromise on the quality of clothing their child wears," adds Carol. "Babywear Exchange is designed to help parents spoil their new arrivals without wasting their money - and to know that they’ll be able to get money back by re-selling the clothes once they’ve been outgrown is a massive bonus.” The fee-free listings initiative has already got off to a great start, with over 100 sellers filling each category with items. Now Carol is hoping more people will support the venture, and save themselves some money in the process. Visit Babywear Exchange at www.babywearexchange.com
