Comfort & Support - A traditional sprung mattress supports body weight using a series of metal springs within the mattress. These by their very nature can provide pressure points at the spring. A memory foam mattress has no springs, Body weight is evenly spread across the mattress eliminating these pressure points. The mattress moulds to the unique shape of the body providing support.

Allergy Issues - A traditional sprung mattress by its design accumulates dust and dust mites within. These can then be expelled at night as the occupant turns over, potentially causing irritation to the airways and eyes to those sensitive to dust mites and their waste products.
