AUSTRALIAN DEPARTMENT OF IMMIGRATION & CITIZENSHIP ARE TO CLAMP DOWN ON ILLEGAL WORKERS.
The Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship is asking employers to check the visa details of all workers at this year's Royal Adelaide Show. Their Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO) service allows a quick and easy check of the rights of workers who are non-citizen's of Australia. Those employers who carry out work rights checks on their staff will prevent any disruption to their business activities at the popular Australian show due to any worker found to be working for them illegally. |
