eSported.com the "MySpace" for gamers has opened the doors for main audience. In these times where social communities pop up like flowers in a world dominated by companies like face book and MySpace, esported certainly jumps out as the place where gamers meet. eSported is positioned as a niche channel and leaves its competitive game communities behind as they have NOT tried to built anything new! They use a generic lay-out and easy interface which allows people to interact with each other and share common interests. eSported.com is an intermediary between: gamers, fans, friends and family, but also the main companies and well known eSport teams, like Dignitas, Fnatic and qG.QualityGaming. We all see the growing market around games and we all know eSport teams all send out the same sponsor letters to the same companies. We want to close that gap and create a solid advertising company which allows us to be the sole sponsor for many teams. We will do anything we need to make eSports mainstream. eSported holds many features some well known, some unique and known to social community users: RSS feeds, Messenger, A/V chat, invite friends across MySpace, linked-in, MSN. Yahoo, AIM, Face book, integrations with all major freemails like hotmail and Gmail, 15 languages, blogs, groups. Apart from the generic features we will also create more unique gamer oriented features like an Xbox live integration and implementation with companies like Zonerank, WCG, ESWC and all ID's that are used by the "famous" gamers. 3rd party merchants aKa retailers, shop holders will have an opportunity to create a shop within 30 minutes and sell the products into the base immediately, this direct injection should make sure tremendous conversions are created. Of course we think all eSported members should have an opportunity to get a special eSported "member" discount. Looking at the rights system and the opportunities for the users, they are tremendous. People can create their profile the way they really want to, everything in their profile can be customized, listen to you own favourite music, lay-back to watch the latest HD game plays of another gamer, or just turn on your favourite Internet radio station while you are working. Of course the profiles can be adjusted with most freedom ever seen. Profile pictures run as slide shows, backgrounds, fonts and lay-out can be changed and you can add as many friends as you like, our match system will even pick the gamer with the same interests as you, for you, so you can become friends instantly with a "one button" push. eSported is created by Mike Slagmolen and Chris van de Berg, both gamers in heart and soul. Mike and Chris are managers of the best XBOX360 oriented eSports team worldwide "qG.Qualitygaming", with players like qG Handewasser and the WCG2007 silver winning gears of war team. Chris says: We see the gamer’s community growing and we see the question rising for more business oriented communities. The amount of teams, wanting to be "professional" leads to numerous amounts of letters send out the same companies, unfortunately most letters end up in the trash bin right away. We think companies are more interested in participating in advertising models based on a volume driven market, we want to create that for the companies. Once we have the right volume we can then start feeding the community as sponsor, this way we can make dreams come true for all those gaming youngsters out there. eSported.com will open its doors to the complete world and will have 15 languages within a short period of time; the network and platform are being tweaked and tuned towards a 105% stable platform to create the best user experience ever seen.
