Warwickshire Chartered Accountants appoint new president |

A leading Midlands accountant has been elected to a senior industry post. Phil Ewing, director of Coventry and Leamington accountants and financial advisers Harrison Beale & Owen, has taken over as president of the Warwickshire Society of Chartered Accountants. He said: “Coventry and Warwickshire has a strong and rapidly expanding financial sector and it is extremely important that accountants are well represented in this community.” Ewing, who now lives in Kenilworth but grew up in Coventry, was educated at Bablake School and Durham University. He qualified with Ernst & Young in Birmingham and joined Harrison Beale in 1993. He is a board member of professional services group Coventry First. Harrison Beale & Owen has a team of over 60 people and has offices based in Coventry and Leamington.
