Stock forum websites Silicon Investor and InvestorsHub have added commodities and Forex channels plus a host of other trading and investing tools and features. Silicon Investor (SI), the original stock market investment forum, has re-launched to become a single source for worldwide financial data, news and discussion. SI (www.siliconinvestor.com) - along with sister site InvestorsHub (www.investorshub.com) - now boasts dedicated Forex and commodities channels, advanced stock quote pages, a comprehensive charting package, news and data from over 80 global exchanges. Both sites also include brand new tools such as watchlists, toplists and portfolio along with many other features already renowned on award-winning parent website ADVFN (www.advfn.com). All three sites include International Super Quote: a single source for worldwide data, which enables investors to find anything from a stock to a commodity, Forex or index from over 80 exchanges. Toplists – also available across all three sites – show investors the biggest gainers and losers in the current trading day giving a one page summary of the stocks that are really moving the exchanges. This includes Percentage Gainers, Percentage Losers, Volume Leaders and Trades for stocks traded on the Nasdaq, NYSE, AMEX, OTC BB, Pink sheets (and other OTC stocks). Users also have access to international toplists for stocks listed on exchanges outside of the US. Each site features streaming news from a number of global newswires including PR Newswire, Edgar, MarketWire and Business Wire and includes a detailed Financials section which includes annual reports, balance sheets and a host of financial key figures and ratios for US-listed companies. The dedicated Forex channel is extremely comprehensive, very easy to navigate and is suitable for the beginner through to expert Forex trader. It provides real-time GTIS FOREX for a very competitively priced $13.99 a month, with 15 minute delayed prices free. Other key features include:
Within the commodities section traders have full access to commodities news, charts and quotes for base metals, precious metals, energy, grain & oil seeds, softs and plastics. In addition, Silicon Investor has recently launched SI Sentiment, a compilation of ratings given to different stocks by Silicon Investor’s 500,000-plus registered users. This tool highlights the equities, which are being talked about most as well as revealing investor opinion as to whether particular stocks are considered a buy or a sell. “The combination of ADVFN’s award-winning tools and data with the message board expertise, reputation and popularity of both Silicon Investor and InvestorsHub.com ensures that the sites cater for the whole spectrum of retail investors,” said Clem Chambers, CEO of ADVFN. “Each site has a different audience profile and reach. InvestorsHub.com is one of the most popular financial message board destinations in the world and is home to the more speculative, long-term investor who trades small- and micros-cap equities and Pink Sheets stocks. Users of Silicon Investor are sophisticated High Net Worth individuals who tend to trade for a living and have an interest in all mid- and large-cap companies; it is home to fundamentalists and technical analysts alike. ADVFN provides US investors with financial information from a global perspective including European and emerging markets.” - ends - NOTES TO EDITORS About ADVFNADVFN (www.advfn.com) provides financial data to retail investors from markets all over the world.
