Charlotte,NC,March,18,2008 -- Alpha Theory announces Harry Blount, CFA has been appointed Chairman of the Alpha Theory Advisory Board.  Mr. Blount brings 20 years of experience evaluating dozens of public and private companies across a multitude of industries where he was an expert in analyzing company valuation, strategic planning, merger and acquisition, equity and debt financing, competitive assessment, and product vision.

Mr. Blount was named to the Institutional Investor All-American teams and the Wall Street Journal All-Star Analyst teams multiple times.  From 2002 to 2006, Mr. Blount served as an outside advisor to Nokia Innovent, a Nokia Ventures Organization company that evaluated emerging technologies. 

Mr. Blount has spoken at numerous industry events and frequently appeared on CNBC and Bloomberg.  He has been quoted in a variety of publications including the Wall Street Journal, Barrons, Forbes, Fortune, and Business Week.
