The Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Committee held its Annual Awards Dinner on June 5, 2008 at Spring Mill Manor in Ivyland, Pa.

The dinner honored deserving area women with financial assistance to help them achieve their dreams of becoming a business owner through the Committee’s Scholarship Program. This year, the CBCC selected Neen James, International Productivity Expert, Author of Secrets of Super-Productivity and President of Neen James Communications to serve as the keynote to address the issues women face in the business world and tips to overcome those obstacles. "I am elated to have spoken to so many inspiring women," says Neen James, President of Neen James Communications, Inc. "As a woman and business owner, I feel it is important to share some of my experiences with other women to let them know they too can follow their dreams. After much hard work and motivation, their dreams can come true also."The CBCC’s Women in Business Scholarship recipients and attendees enjoyed:

Variety of premier wines and beers
Raffle Prizes donated by area Bucks County businesses
Entertainment by musicians and other local talented artists

James' presentation focused on life purpose, trials and determination. The CBCC’s Scholarship Program attendees left with increased knowledge of how women can strive in academic leadership, financial leadership, community leadership, and career leadership.
