Walter Logan & Co represents the German manufacturer Reutlinger in the UK and Both of them were delighted to be recognised in the prestigious IF Awards. Sue Ellis MD of Walter Logan says that the type 50SV & 80SV holders have only recently been introduced to the UK market and that there has been a lot of interest, especially when the customer sees that it has a TUV certificate, the only one that is certified to her knowledge. With more regulation and red tape having a certified product gives assurance to the user and any councils / bureaucrats that it is safe. Cable holders – in particular series type 50SV and type 80SV – suspend heavy loads from steel ables without any tools. Positioning a cable holder on any point along a cable is very simple, and therefore provides a maximum of flexibility when installing elaborate ceiling constructions. Cable holders combine functionality and safety – certified by the TÜV and the Association of Professional Trades – with subtle and pleasing design. This explains their increasing popularity in the lighting industry as well as the stage, exhibition and trade show applications, which places a high value on design, function, affordability and speed of installation.
