Consumer website, UK Energy Saving (http://www.uk-energy-saving.com) will shortly be distributing their new electronic newsletter, aimed at those interested in finding out more about energy saving and related topics. UK Energy Saving has gone from strength to strength since its launch in 2006, and the new newsletter will help keep subscribers focussed on different areas of the green living topics covered on the website. The first issue of the electronic newsletter, entitled greenCHAT, will be sent out within the next two weeks with the headline topic of recycling. In the style which is to be used throughout future issues, the newsletter contains an overview of the main subject as well as useful links both to UK Energy Saving and other relevant sites. Top Tips and details of the latest updates to http://www.uk-energy-saving.com will also be included in the quarterly electronic publication. Hayley Jones, UK Energy Saving’s Web Marketing Director, explains the decision to launch a newsletter relating to their website, the aim of which is to provide consumers with information on energy saving and related topics which is both relevant and not overly technical. “The website’s popularity indicates that we are hitting the spot for many thousands of people, but we wanted to look at ways to increase awareness of environmental issues further. Many visitors have a specific topic in mind when they visit the site, so the newsletter will provide a further opportunity to perhaps make them think about other additional ways of energy saving. We have aimed to keep the newsletter simple and succinct in style, as we are all too aware that people don’t always have time in their busy lives to plough through long emails”. To receive greenCHAT simply subscribe by emailing
