PRESS RELEASE 16 Apr. The POWER Service, a leading electrical & gas safety contracting company based in Lincolnshire, has today become the first authorised distributor of the TubeSaver® fluorescent conversion kit. This revolutionary new product allows many business owners to save up to 65% on the annual running cost of a standard fluorescent light fitting, drastically cutting fuel bills and hidden maintenance costs. TubeSaver® is supplied by Ecotronic, a midlands-based company with an already impressive array of TubeSaver® clients. TubeSaver® T5 conversion kits can now be found throughout the entire Bowlplex estate – a family entertainment and bowling company with 17 locations nationwide. With nearly 3000 kits fitted from Poole in Dorset to Glasgow, Bowlplex will realise an annual energy saving in the region of £37,000. In a similar move, Novotel London West, Accor Hotel’s largest UK property and flagship convention centre, has saved 73,000 KW (or 29,200 kg of CO2) through savings on lighting, and St Catherine’s Hospital, part of the Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber Mental Health Trust, has seen a 63% reduction in lighting cost following installation of the TubeSaver® TS35 Reflector conversion kit throughout the hospital. The POWER Service’s Dave Chadderton has worked closely with Ecotronic and is the only authorised UK distributor of TubeSaver; he offers a free consultation for directors, business owners and public authorities who believe that they can make a difference.
