Specifically designed for use within the food and pharmaceutical industries. A unique manufacturing process, involving the inclusion of a metallic pigment, enables the Detectamet ties to be detected more easily than standard ties. Benefits Include : Bright Blue in colour to assist detection, Total metal dispersion throughout the body of the tie, Halogen free, Greatly reduces the risk of contamination, Can be used as part of the HACCP process. X-ray visible, Ideal for sack and bag tying, Made from strong and durable nylon and a *polypropylene version (*for high wash-down areas and liquid products due to its ability to float) Suitable for many applications. New Sizes now available in both detectamet grades are: 92mm long x 2.4mm wide, 186mm long x 4.8mm wide, 340mm long x 7.0mm wide, 360mm long x 4.8mm wide.
