Pompano Beach, Florida – Just over six years ago Linda Blanco started the dream of a life time, working from her home! Tri County Moms (TCM) offers women a way to earn an income while raising their family.  Founded in 2002, TCM provides information on a healthy, safe lifestyle through alternatives.  Today many are torn between a career and motherhood.  TCM say moms should not have to make a choice!

Prior to TCM, Linda was a career mom of 18 years.  Working 50+ hours a week and missing those important years of her children’s life.  Downsized from Corporate America, she was forced to look for another income source.  Realizing then, she never wanted to let her income and life be controlled by someone or something else she started TriCountyMoms.  Linda says, “I am celebrating my six years of a healthier lifestyle and looking forward to my 7^th

TriCountyMoms got their biggest exposure when Tina Verona from CBS called to set up an interview.  Linda remembers thinking a friend was pulling a joke.  She was thrilled to find that it was for real The CBS news team would be coming to the house to do a story on “Be Your Own Boss”.  That day Linda was able to share her dream and company direction.   The chance to show that a mom of two, ages 13 and 16, could still be a “there all the time mom” and run a successful home business.  A dream come true!

Often moms think of leaving the rat race of an eight to five JOB, but are afraid to take a chance.  They want to be home for their family, so the concept of family unity still remains in today’s world. Many feel the income will suffer as they venture into something new.  Linda suggests to start working from home part time along your current source of income.  Then in time, drop the “day JOB” and be your own boss.

Choosing the work from home situation for you depends on you, your interests and what you are willing to do.  Select an industry that has a future, one that is growing and rock solid. Within the next ten years, the health and wellness industry is predicted to be the next trillion-dollar industry.  As chronic illnesses and diseases rise, many people are realizing that a healthy lifestyle through prevention is the answer for good health.  With these facts in mind Linda decide to start TCM.
