ThirdSectorJobs.co.uk has launched as a specialist jobs site for people working in or looking to join the charity and voluntary sector. The new site extends the successful recruitment service already provided by the magazine Third Sector, and benefits from a substantial marketing campaign to deliver the best quality response from relevant, high-calibre candidates. ThirdSectorJobs.co.uk carries a complete range of vacancies, both full and part time, across all levels and experience. It features the best job-seeker functionality and ease of use of any dedicated voluntary sector jobs site, including daily alerts, personal folders to save job details, CVs and covering letters, and online applications and application tracking. Recruiters can post and manage their own vacancies, and a dedicated campaign management team is responsible for promoting vacancies and optimising the site to deliver the best response.
Simon Devitt, online publisher at Haymarket Professional, said “This is a very exciting time in a sector that is growing in size and importance, and we believe there is a significant opportunity to support its effectiveness by enabling efficient, cost-effective recruitment. We have already seen good support from major recruiters as well as strong traffic growth and we believe we are going to make a major impact as the promotion gathers pace over the next few months.” Notes to editors Haymarket Publishing is the largest independently-owned UK magazine publishing company. It publishes more than 100 titles around the globe. In the UK they include Children Now, Young People Now, Planning, Regeneration & Renewal, PRWeek, Marketing, Campaign, Management Today, Autocar, What Car?, Four Four Two and others. Third Sector was acquired by Haymarket Publishing and relaunched as a weekly in 2002. Haymarket is now considerably increasing its investment in online recruitment for Britain’s charities, which now employ more than 600,000 people and represent a significant part of the UK economy.
