Most Bizarre Interview Question will win you a prize at EREC 2006

“Can you give me 25 unique selling points of a biro pen?”

“Would you consider yourself to be a good girl or bad girl?”

If you were a plate of food - what food would you be?”

These are examples of the kind of bizarre questions often asked at interviews, many of which leave the candidate completely at a loss for words.
Digital Video Interview Services (DVI) would like to hear your thoughts on this topic and is holding a competition to find the most bizarre interview questions ever asked at the EREC 2006 conference on both the 21st and 22nd of June.
DVI will have a mock video interview studio set up on their stand (B32) and candidates will be offered the chance to interview a recruiter using questions entered into the competition. “DVI offers a unique interviewing service to candidates and recruiters,” says Catriona Ryan, Managing Director of DVI. “Our clients give us the questions they would like candidates to answer and sometimes they are rather unusual. We think our ‘Most Bizarre Interview Question’ competition will give exhibition visitors the chance to have some fun during their visit.”
The most bizarre questions entered into the competition will be asked of one of our willing volunteer recruiters on the DVI stand on the hour throughout the exhibition. The author of the question voted the ‘most bizarre’ each day will receive a prize
Catriona Ryan will also be speaking about how video interviewing is the future of recruitment in the EREC conference room on Thursday 22 June at 2pm and welcomes all visitors to attend.
DVI was launched in March 2006 to the UK recruitment industry and has been securing significant contracts across the country both from recruitment companies and corporate HR departments .Candidates also across the UK and even as far as Hong Kong have availed of the service and purchased their very own personalized DVI Web Page to market themselves out to employers and recruiters.
