Pune, 11^th February 2007: The international Institute of Information and Technology (IsquareIT), Finolex Group initiative organized the three day national event “Dhruva’ recently. Dhruva 2008, a national event that the institute had organized to rekindle your brains and help showcase your skills, talents, and expertise in various fields. This event was a lethal combination of technical, management as well as cultural events and took you many steps further on the knowledge path. *The three main highlights of the events were:* The performance by Indian Ocean, the rock band of India. Band Warz, the rock band competition saw the rock bands competing from across the country. Rhythm, the dance competition that witnessed spectacular dance performances from groups across various colleges in the country. Last year i.e. in Jan 2007, the three day event was organized called Dhruva 2007 for the second time There was good participation form the corporate world as well as the students form various colleges. There were management and technical events in which students form several colleges from the city and state took part. There were also guest lectures, workshops and panel discussion by eminent personalities such as Ankit Fadia who gave a fantastic talk about ethical hacking and cyber crime on the final day, we had a cultural extravaganza at which Raghav Sanchar and ‘ScarFace’ and their bands really spiced up the night.
