How to protect your driving licence

The UK has the highest number of driving convictions compared to any other country in Europe, due by and large to the overwhelming success of speed cameras and mobile speed traps. There are currently more than 5,400 static camera sites situated around UK roads and just under 3,500 mobile speed units in operation, which accounted for more than 2 million motorists being fined and receiving penalty points on their licences.

More recently, the heavily criticised Safety Camera Partnership has come under fire yet again, for raking in massive profits from the controversial camera scheme, which has yet to provide any concrete evidence of noticeable reductions in road traffic accidents, across the country as a whole.

Motorists who are caught breaking the speed limits are faced with the obligatory £60 fine. But according to research, the biggest concern is the accumulation of penalty points. Under the current system any driver who receives the maximum of 12 points on their licence faces disqualification.

In order to combat this potential problem, The Lexington Partnership, an innovative specialist information company, based in Maidenhead, Berkshire, have developed a new comprehensive information product designed to prevent motorists from getting a speeding ticket.

In a recent statement, Product Development manager and business partner, Tony Harper, said, “The only way the hard pressed motorist can fight back against the speeding fine, is to be armed with relevant insider information, which will show and explain how they can avoid a fine and ultimately points on their licence. Everything they need to know is now available on an interactive CD, which they can order directly from our website”.

For further in-depth information about avoiding a speeding ticket and ultimately saving your driving licence, drivers should visit the company’s dedicated website:
