In a survey recently conducted by Stoneville (UK) Ltd, quality of the product came as the most important factor, followed by uniqueness of the product, reputation of the supplier and price. Stoneville (UK) Ltd, a UK contractor and supplier of natural stones, has recently conducted a survey among its residential customers to determine their key purchase criteria.
Interestingly, quality of the product came as the most important factor, followed by uniqueness of the product, reputation of the supplier and price. Other factors customers took into consideration were, stock availability, quality of service, location of the showroom and quality of the website.
Product quality and supplier reputation have always been the most important purchase criteria for commercial buyers of natural stones. It was interesting to note that residential customers hold similar views.
Some customers told us that one of the reasons why product quality was identified as number one criterion was existence of a large number of suppliers who sell low or average quality natural stones, in particular travertine and limestone. Customers are willing to pay premium for a top quality product, given especially that the premium is often quite moderate.
Encouraged by survey results, Stoneville will continue its policy of focusing on top quality natural stones. ### Stoneville (UK) Ltd tel: 020 8560 1000 This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it |
