CUBICLE DESIGN FROM A DIFFERENT ANGLE

TBS Fabrications have brought to the washroom market a new concept in cubicle design.  Zed is not only unusual and unique but it also provides architects and contractors with the perfect solution to part M of the building regulations.

TBS Fabrications are proud to present ZED, their newest innovation in washroom systems. ZED is a contemporary cubicle system originally inspired by regulations relating to the Disability Discrimination Act.  The concept evolved further after research revealed an architectural and contractual desire for something ‘a bit different’.

Barry Welsh, TBS’s MD believes that much can be inferred by the state of a WC or changing room.  In today’s climate a quality washroom can increase value of a property by over 10% and can also have a positive influence on a business’ image.  For too long now cubicles have been functional, forgettable and far from flexible and this failure to incorporate style and charm is a missed opportunity to impress.

ZED, named after its distinctive appearance, eliminates the need to compromise quality in favour of price.  The quirky design instantly adds character and style to any environment.  Not only is the ZED refreshingly different but also a safer option than many of the cubicles currently available on the market.  The interlocking, angular system with engineered aluminium sections allow for the inclusion of ambient disabled doors, which are a good solution to Part M of the building regulations.  Part M demands that all doors open out in an emergency without the health and safety issue of impeding on walkways.

The configuration of the ZED allows for numerous possibilities whether you require toilets, changing or shower cubicles or wish to include benching, wet and dry entrances, mirrors or space for advertising.  It even allows for the removal of sometimes-problematic glass doors in shower areas whilst maintaining that element of privacy, which further confirms that TBS’s newest product, ZED, is one of the most appealing and versatile systems available on the market.
