Wooden Pen Works, a manufacturer of hand made pens has announced the addition of a Laser Engraver, allowing the launch of a new series of Coat of Arms Pens. Billerica, Massachusetts - 02/01/2008 - Wooden Pen Works. Wooden Pen Works has recently added Laser Engraving to their workshop. The maker of handcrafted writing utensils has also acquired an extensive library of family crests. With thousands of historically accurate representations of your family's heritage. The Library includes Irish, Enlish, Scottish, Welsh, French, German, Spanish and Portugese heraldry. The designs have been skillfully modified to allow precise detail to be engraved in a pen's limited area. Since acquisition of the Laser Engraver, Wooden Pen Works has added several custom designs to their online store. These pens, designed by, and sold exclusively by Wooden Pen Works, include a MOM's pen, a Carved Valentine pattern, an Irish Claddagh and a Celtic Cross design. Future plans include wooden pen boxes to compliment these unusual pens. Michael Doyle, the owner/operator of Wooden Pen Works said " The new Laser Engraver allows me to combine an extensive background in graphic arts with my woodworking experience to create pen designs that can be found nowhere else." Doyle also stated that " The plan is to use the Laser to produce a full range of customized wooden gifts to satisfy your personal or professional gift needs."
