Top five Christmas presents for web entrepreneurs
Written by Genie Group

Crowdstorm, leader in the new field of social shopping , provides an enlightening insight into what top internet entrepreneurs and professionals want for Christmas!

Crowdstorm, the social shopping website, has published the Christmas wishlists of some the UK's leading web entrepreneurs and professionals. A Tetris bookshelf, a jet pack, a tiger, a lego display cabinet, and a WiFi rabbit are among the stranger wishes, among more predictable desirables such as socks and pants and the new Nintendo Wii. The selection of internet leaders includes Simon Murdoch (formerly Amazon UK), Jamie Murray Wells (glassesdirect), Michael Smith (Mindcandy and Firebox), and Philip Wilkinson (Crowdstorm).

Shoppers looking for ideas can see images and videos, product information (complete with Crowdstorms trademark social reviews), and the reasons why the select group picked the products they did.

Crowdstorm CEO & co-founder Philip Wilkinson says:

"Christmas wishlists abound at this time of year but no one has ever thought to get together a strong group of internet entrepreneurs behind many of the web's most successful businesses and ask the top things they want to buy. Combine this with some fun videos explaining their choices (some of the choices do need explaining!) and you get an interesting new perspective."
"We have left the list open: any other entrepreneurs or people in the internet business are more than welcome to submit their top five items for publication. We're expecting some extremely strange stuff!"

Influential people that have published their top five wishlists with Crowdstorm include: Jamie Murray Wells of glassesdirect, Michael Smith of Mindcandy and Firebox, Adam Powell of Neopets, Lyndon Hearn of Yahoo Europe, Philip Wilkinson of Crowdstorm, and Robert Loch of Internet People. Robert Scoble of Scobolizer fame and Sam Sethi (Techcrunch UK) are also due to go live within the next few days.
