Purchase an Aga from Edwards & Godding between 19 May and 31 July 2008 and they will offset the carbon emissions of the Aga’s fuel consumption for a whole year. Edwards & Godding, authorised Aga distributor for the area, are pleased to announce their summer Aga promotion. British built, the modern Aga comes from 70% recycled material, is made to last a lifetime and with carbon offsetting the fuel used for the first year, the Aga has never been greener. Environmental issues are vitally important to Edwards & Godding and they have recently made some advancements to mitigate their impact, including introducing recycling into all their offices and showrooms, using fair trade and organic products where possible and utilising recycled and eco friendly products. Duncan Smith, Managing Director, says ‘This promotion is a great way of including our customers in our green initiatives, and something we hope will really capture everyone’s imagination’. To give customers a chance to see this iconic range cooker in action Edwards & Godding are hosting an Aga Open Day on Saturday 31 May 2008 between 10am – 2pm at their Reading showroom. Trained Aga home economist James McIntosh will be cooking all day to give visitors a chance to taste the delicious food with Edwards & Godding staff on hand to answer any questions about either the summer promotion of the Aga itself. Customers are asked to just pop in any time throughout the day. Edwards & Godding offer free home surveys for all new Agas, stock a full range of cookware in each of their three showrooms in Reading, Woodstock and Sunninghill and also have a fully qualified and experienced servicing team who can help maintain the Aga for years and years. Edwards & Godding will use the average fuel consumption figures provided by Aga Foodservices for every different Aga model and will offset the predicted carbon emissions for 12 months following the installation of the cooker through http://www.climatecare.org. -ends- Information on Edwards & GoddingEdwards & Godding, established 1790, supply the most exciting and prestigious range cookers and kitchen appliances on the market, including Aga, Rayburn, Britannia, Lacanche, La Cornue, Wolf, Viking, Mercury, Thermastone, Gaggenau, Bosch, Miele, Sub-Zero, Amana and Maytag to trade and retail customers throughout central and southern England.
