DATELINE: COHASSET AND PLYMOUTH, MASS…Dr. Richard Eisen and Dr. Ramzi Saad, dermatologists at South Shore Skin Center, have recently announced a new and improved vein procedure, known as Gentle YAG, which effectively treats spider veins in one to three sessions.
Gentle YAG by Candela is ideal for treating spider veins on the legs, where sclerotherapy was previously the only option available. With Gentle YAG, healing times are quicker; there is little discoloration at the treatment site and fewer treatments are needed than with traditional laser therapy.
The new treatment can even be performed during the summer months on darker and tanned skin because the laser light is not absorbed by the pigment in the skin.
To schedule an appointment, contact South Shore Skin Center’s Cohasset or Plymouth office (781) 383-3340.
