Shake it Baby launches 'Paradise', a range of exotic jewellery hand-crafted in Thailand from real orchids, roses and foliage.
Young Scottish entrepreneur, April Kerr (24) of Shake it Baby (www.shakeitbaby.co.uk), an e-store which offers an assortment of unusual jewellery to appeal to fashion conscious women, launches a brand new range of exotic orchid jewellery.
The latest range to be offered to customers keen to keep up with the latest fashions, is Paradise, fairly traded jewellery made from real orchids, roses and foliage. Preserved and handcrafted in Thailand using silver, 24K gold plating or clear lacquer, these stunning pieces of jewellery are durable enough to enjoy for a lifetime.
The floral adornments are sure to create compliments from all. “Everybody who sees the jewellery falls in love with them and can’t believe they are actually real flowers as they are so unusual” says April. “As a bonus they are also fairly traded as the manufacturers are backed by Novica in association with National Geographic.”
With tropical weddings on the increase, as reported by the Government’s Office of National Statistics, Paradise jewellery will also appeal to brides looking for tropical jewellery to match their tropical surroundings. Prices for Paradise jewellery range between £11.50 and £22.00.
Notes for editor
Founded by April Kerr and based in Kilmarnock, Shake it Baby first launched in 2005 selling Pilgrim, one of the biggest fashion jewellery brands in the world who release a new collection four times a year. At Shake it Baby however, you will find a number of “vintage” Pilgrim items that are almost impossible to find elsewhere. Prices range from £4.95 to £54.95. She is also selling the brand Paradise wholesale via www.paradiseonline.co.uk. |
