Marlow – 20 April 2007 - Today saw the launch of an innovative new website www.thenaturallook.co.uk (The Natural Look TM) designed to meet the needs of the thousands of British women who use the Internet each month to source information on beauty, well being and skin ageing. Developed by Allergan Ltd, The Natural Look TM aims to be a ‘one-stop-shop’ for women sourcing the latest and most credible skin ageing information, allowing them to make the most informed choices when considering non-invasive cosmetic procedures and surgical options. “The growth of the Internet has given rise to an increase in the wealth of misleading information accessible to the public. The Natural Look TM aims to navigate through this minefield, and provide clear, balanced information on the condition of skin ageing, and the full range of invasive and non-invasive procedures available today”, says Mr Rajiv Grover, Consultant Plastic Surgeon and member of the website advisory board. Reviewed by an eminent and independent panel of European experts across dermatology, plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine, The Natural Look TM incorporates unique and innovative technology. Users can use the unique 3D ‘Before & After’ Modeller to create ‘before’ and ‘after’ images of themselves while a comprehensive clinic locater will help them find the most appropriate place to seek further advice and treatment. Other information on the website includes a section on the ageing process which guides users through the lifestyle options available to help them keep looking refreshed and rejuvenated for longer. The latest information on non-invasive procedures such as microdermabrasion, lasers, wrinkle smoothing treatments and dermal fillers is also covered, as well as surgical options for the face and breast augmentation. The Natural Look TM was developed following extensive consumer research which revealed that a lack of trustworthy skin ageing information was a key concern for women. The wide range of aesthetic procedures covered on the website also reflects a shift in what women are looking for in aesthetic medicine – not a “new” look so much as their own natural look, refreshed and rejuvenated. “Aesthetic procedures are gaining rapid and widespread acceptance as an important aspect of maintaining one’s overall health and well-being. It’s not simply about looking younger, it’s about looking good for your age and enhancing your natural attributes”, says Consultant Dermatologist, Dr Tamara Griffiths, who also sits on the website’s advisory board. The Natural Look TM can be accessed on www.thenaturallook.co.uk, and is ‘live’ from 20 April 2007. **************************************************************************** For further information, or to arrange interviews with Mr Rajiv Grover or Dr Tamara Griffiths, please contact: Lucy Hawkins This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it 020 7632 1981 Julia Cross This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it 020 7632 1811 **************************************************************************** Note to Editor: www.thenaturallook.co.uk is sponsored by Allergan Limited The information contained on this site is for general guidance only.
