Whatprice re-launches websiteThe popular price comparison website www.whatprice.co.uk has completely revamped its site with a brand new look and a whole host of pricing information for consumers. The goal of Whatprice.co.uk is to provide the public with a platform to share information about the cost of living in the UK. From the cost of running your car, through to how much a plumber will charge you to fix a leaky tap it is all there, there is even a survey of how much a fish and chip supper is in your area!
Some of the topics include:
All information is provided by the public, checked for accuracy and then published on the site. As more and more people are starting to use this service the pricing information just becomes more accurate. The new look site includes a number of new features including a search function and a far simpler feedback form.
With the help of this site thousand of people will be able to check up on the amount of money they should expect to pay for goods or services; this will help them make informed decisions about whether they are getting value for money. Armed with this site consumers should be able to spot things such as whether their building contractor is charging them ten times the going rate for fixing the leaking roof, or whether they are spending far too much on their central heating costs and should consider another supplier.
