Providing "proof of purchase" information is no longer a problem when things go wrong!

In April Proof of Purchase Limited launched www.proofofpurchase.co.uk - a website that will allows users

to securely record information about goods they've bought. Then, if anything goes wrong, they can quickly

retrieve the facts they need to get things fixed.

Users will be able to store details about the supplier, the manufacturer, the product and copies of any

documents they might need - receipts, warranty and so on.

Registration is free for the first 90 days and then only £10 per year after that.

Additonally the site is building up a database of information to help users to sell, repair and dispose
of goods, as well as providing legal information.

Diana Lines from Proof of Purchase said

"We genuinely feel that this site is bringing something new to consumer services and the Internet. We feel

it will be of advantage to both the buyer and seller.

For the buyer it gives the opportunity to securely store "off-site" information on products they've

purchased. For the seller it will ensure that any claims that require proof of purchase can be validated

and dealt with efficiently and fairly."
