Clever New Appointment Reminder Service - Never forget anything again |

| UbiquitE Ltd ( pron; Ubikwitee ) have recently launched a clever new text based reminder service for anyone with future appointments and events to remember. It’s called Neva4Get, and the clever bit is allowing users to set up reminder events directly from their mobile phone by submitting a simple short message. This means that the reminders can be set-up immediately an appointment or event is booked or a future commitment made. This means the opportunity to forget is totally eliminated. Other available reminder services require users to access a website and enter details of future events. This means now, they have two things to remember, the event itself, and to visit the web page to set a reminder. This is great for when people are booking at Dentists, Hospitals, Doctors, Chiropractors, Hair and beauty salons, solariums, gyms, and Spas. It’s a real help in remembering just about anything like car M.O.T expiry, birthdays, anniversaries, and school sports events or plays. It can also be invaluable in keeping track of work meetings, seminars, training courses, and exhibitions. Unlike other services, users don’t need an account and don’t need to buy credits. To set-up a reminder a user simply texts the keyword ‘Remindme’ followed by brief details of the event, making sure the date is at the very end of the text in ddmmyy format. This is sent to 82085. For example: To set-up a reminder for a dentist appointment at 11:30am on the 17th October 2008 a user would simply text the following to 82085‘Remindme Dentist appointment 11:30am 171008’ The service immediately responds with a confirmation text showing full details of the reminder set. Five days before the event, the user receives a reminder text showing all the details originally set. On the morning of the event they receive a second reminder text to make sure there is no chance of forgetting anything. If the reminder set is for an event within the next 5 days, the reminder will be sent the day before or, if even this is not possible, it will be sent on the morning of the event. It takes seconds to set-up and, once done, there is no chance of forgetting any event submitted to the service. Future developments will enable users to securely register their mobile on the Neva4Get.com website and then be able to view and amend reminders.
