Red Media Announce the Launch of New Automatic Garage Website

Automatic Garages, a website offering reviews and guides related to buying and repairing electronic garage doors, is set to launch today. The website is part of a wider strategy by the company behind the website, Red Media, to launch small, specialized, websites that cater for specific niches that are not provided for currently.

A website providing content, reviews, and guides to help people in buying, and repairing, electronic garages is set to launch today. The website will be free for users, and will be funded by advertising revenue. The company behind the website -- Red Media - views www.automaticgarages.com as a key component of the rapid growth strategy it is currently undertaking.

Stewart Douglas, of Red Media, explains their goal and overall strategy behind the website: "Red Media's goal is to publish quality content in markets which are currently untapped. In a market such as garages, for example, it is hard for consumers to find impartial advice that is not tainted by the commercial interests of suppliers -- we aim to fulfill that need."

"From an editorial perspective, we feel our writers are talented and are passionate about the subjects we ask them to write about. We are also selling our advertising inventory through a third-party -- Google Inc. -- and therefore feel that we can really concentrate on what we do best -- and that is to write niche content in markets that are currently unsaturated. The web creates an opportunity where by it is possible to cater for areas of smaller demand and to effectively catch the long tail."

The company behind the website, Red Media, has recently received a second round of finance, which they say, is helping them to grow their traffic, add more properties to their portfolio, and take on more staff to help them improve their websites.

Over the next 12 month period, an additional 100 articles will be added to www.automaticgarages.com. Jennifer Cave will step in as executive editor of the website, coming from a background in consumer review journalism. She commented: "I hope my background will help, and I look forward to seeing what I can achieve at the helm. I am being offered a relatively free rein from which to take the site in the direction I feel best, this is something I am looking particularly forward to."
