This months collector’s issue of the design and lifestyle magazine Elle Decoration (guest edited by Sir TC) printed it’s Gift Guide blaring out sustainability in its use of Smith Bros (Quinton) Ltd – The Wooden Packaging Co.’s wooden boxes as gift boxes on every single page. Never has sustainability been more in the publics mind with the warmest months leading up to Christmas that the UK has seen since records began. Bets are seemingly off for a white Christmas this year with claims that Santa is choosing a Toyota Prius in place of the usual reindeer pulled slay. A Birmingham based manufacturer, Smith Bros (Quinton) Ltd – The Wooden Packaging Co has been trying to turn the tide since established in 1927, by selling sustainable wooden packaging to all who would listen.
